1. Mutual Participation

Now more than ever husbands and wives are truly equal partners.  Whether it be a wedding or the birth of a child, the events surrounding them should be shared in by the two as much as possible.

2. Less Formal

A Couples Shower tends to be more laid back then a traditional shower.  This opens the event up to a variety of acceptable locations, such as a backyard or a public park.

3. Husbands Socializing

Often times women wish that their husbands (or husbands-to-be) would become better acquainted with their friend's husbands.  A Couples Shower is the perfect opportunity for the guys to get to know each other.

4. New Games

The fact men will be at the shower opens the door to a whole new set of games that can be played to entertain your guests.  These games will be a breathe of fresh air compared to the same old games that have been going on at traditional showers since the dawn of time.  Be sure to check out the "Games" section of this website for some fun ideas.

5. No One Left Out

The events surrounding a wedding or the birth of a child are special ones that should be shared with as many of the significant people in a woman's life as possible.  For example, why would you exclude such important people as the woman's father from these events?  Or perhaps the woman has a male friend that she would like to share these events with as well.  With a Couples Shower these special people no longer have to be left out of these memorable events.
